A Note to Everyone in the Team

If your name isn’t listed here, we want you to know this: your work is deeply appreciated.

This award celebrates individual recognition, but the strength of Bespoke Care lies in our collective commitment to compassion, dignity, and professional care.

Every smile you bring, every shift you cover, every small act of kindness you offer — it matters. You are the heartbeat of our service, and we couldn’t do what we do without you.

Whether nominated or not, you are valued, respected, and celebrated.

This year, we opened up nominations for the Care Worker (Community), Kirklees award – and the response was beautiful. Service users, families, and colleagues came forward to share heartfelt messages about the care workers who inspire them most.

Now, it’s time to meet the shining stars of Bespoke Care and Support Services who are helping to define award-winning care in Huddersfield and Kirklees.

🏆 Gold Award Nominee – Katie Carr (8 Nominations)

💛 “She’s my grandmother’s favourite care worker.” Katie is more than a care worker, she’s a source of joy and reassurance to so many. Described as “very caring and attentive,” her gentle presence, professionalism, and sunny disposition make her stand out as a truly extraordinary part of the Homecare Huddersfield team. Families simply say she is “lovely,” “great,” and “always happy.”

🥈 Silver Award Nominee – Muhammad Atif (6 Nominations)

🤍 “He’s very good — honestly hardworking and very caring.” Muhammad has built a solid reputation with clients and colleagues alike. He’s dependable, respectful, and kind, a true role model in personal care. He’s especially appreciated by clients in the HD5 area, many of whom ask for him by name.

🥉 Bronze Award Nominee – Vicki Sanderson (5 Nominations)

💙 “She always goes above and beyond. I’ve never had a single problem with her!”

Vicki stands out for her thorough approach and kind heart. Repeatedly called “outstanding,” she brings excellence and calm professionalism to every call she makes in Central Huddersfield and beyond.

🌟 Heading to the Big Night: Celebrating Our Finalists at the Kirklees Care Awards

We’re proud to announce that Katie Carr, our top nominee, will be formally put forward to represent Bespoke Care and Support Services in the Care Worker (Community), Kirklees category at the Kirklees and Calderdale Care Awards 2025. As a mark of recognition, our brilliant runners-up, Muhammad Atif and Vicki Sanderson will also be invited to attend the awards ceremony. This black tie event will take place at the Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, Huddersfield, and promises to be a memorable evening celebrating excellence in care across the region. We’ll be there to proudly cheer them on and celebrate everything that makes Homecare in Kirklees truly special.
