Safety and Professional Development
To ensure our staff are fully equipped to provide safe and effective care, all team members undergo comprehensive safety training before they begin their roles. This training includes essential courses such as:
Basic First Aid
Health and Safety
Infection Prevention and Control
Food Hygiene
Medication Management (Annual Refresher)
Safeguarding Adults (Annual Refresher)
Manual Handling of People (Annual Refresher)
Mental Capacity Act and DoLS
For our staff members whose training is due for renewal, we arrange refresher courses to ensure they stay up-to-date with industry standards.
Care Certificate
Once our care workers have completed their initial safety training, they move on to the Care Certificate – a nationally recognised qualification that ensures they have the skills, knowledge, and understanding to care for you effectively.
Advanced Qualifications
We also offer our team the opportunity to pursue Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Adult Social Care. These qualifications, which are valued at £4,000, help our staff continue to grow in their roles and provide you with even better care. We are proud to offer fully funded training for these qualifications, giving our team members the chance to progress while strengthening their ability to support you.
