Community Home Care Assistant (Part-Time)
Pay: £12.70 – £13.25 per hour
Unlike many traditional care roles with set shifts from 7:00am–2:00pm or 3:00pm–11:00pm, this role is designed around school hours. Our part-time Community Home Care Assistants typically work between 9:00am and 2:30pm, giving you plenty of time to do the school run, spend evenings with your family, and still build a meaningful career in care.
We also ask for one weekend day each week (or alternate full weekends), helping us ensure continuity of care for the people we support.

What You’ll Do
As a Community Home Care Assistant, you’ll be supporting people in Huddersfield and across Kirklees to live safely and independently at home. Duties include:
Personal care and mobility support
Medication assistance
Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition
Companionship and emotional support
Recording and reporting via our CareLine Live app
